90 Percent of Residents Donetsk Select the Freedom of Ukraine

Opinion polls in Donetsk , eastern Ukraine , resulted in a significant vote for independence from Kiev . These results make the Ukrainian central government 's wrath , said that the referendum was illegal , and the fight against terrorism will continue .

CNN reported , Monday, May 12, 2014 , an official with the Ukrainian election commission said that nearly 90 percent of voters in a poll last Sunday in Donetsk decided independence of Ukraine . Only 10 percent of those who oppose it .

President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov while responding to the result with anger . " The play 's propaganda will not have any legal consequences . Terrorists who call for a referendum was nothing more than propaganda spreaders to cover up the murder , kidnapping and violence , " said Turchynov .

He stressed that the government would continue to eradicate Terrorism , sabotage , and criminals .

According to CNN , the referendum result is in contrast to a survey by the Pew Research Center . In the Pew survey , 70 percent of Ukrainians want to remain united with the eastern Ukraine .

If the referendum decide for ourselves , then head of the Central Election Commission said the People's Republic of Donetsk Boris Litvinov , the next step is to join poll held by Russia .

If so , the fate of Donetsk will be the same as Russia annexed Crimea . Kiev government insists that people's welfare program in Donetsk will be waived if the select joins with Moscow .
